what we can do for you

Addressing Key Neurological and
Neuromuscular Disorder Symptoms

Neuromuscular disorders encompass a wide range of conditions, from simple to complex and acquired to genetic. At Maryland Neuromuscular Center, timely and accurate diagnosis is crucial to prevent permanent nerve damage and muscle loss. Our expert neurologists specialize in early detection and treatment, ensuring patients receive the best care possible. Utilizing advanced diagnostics like EMG, we confirm diagnoses and tailor treatments to address symptoms effectively.

Weakness

Muscle weakness may indicate underlying neuromuscular disorders, causing reduced strength and stamina. Comprehensive evaluations and tailored treatment plans aim to restore functionality and improve quality of life.

Muscle Loss

Muscle loss, often due to nerve damage or muscle disorders, results in decreased muscle mass and strength. Personalized care focuses on slowing atrophy and maintaining mobility.

Balance

Balance problems can stem from neurological issues, leading to instability and increased fall risk. Specialized assessments and treatments enhance stability and promote patient independence.

Numbness

Tingling and numbness, known as paresthesia, can result from nerve damage or compression. Effective management includes diagnostics, medication, physical therapy, and lifestyle modifications.

Neck Pain

Chronic or acute neck pain, including cervical spinal stenosis or cervical radiculopathy, can significantly impact daily activities. Expert care provides pain relief and improves mobility through customized treatment plans.
